NCC Group strengthens telecom assurance leadership with renewed GSMA Network Equipment Security Assurance (NESAS) auditor status

09 juni 2026

NCC Group has renewed its position as a global auditor for the GSMA Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme (NESAS), reinforcing its role at the forefront of independent security assurance for the global telecoms industry.

Previously appointed in 2022 as one of just two global auditors to the scheme, NCC Group continues to support mobile network equipment vendors in strengthening the security of their products and development processes.

The renewed status reflects NCC Group’s ongoing commitment to advancing cyber resilience across critical national infrastructure, at a time when trust in telecom supply chains remains under increasing scrutiny.

Simone Warren, Director of Telecommunications, Media and Technology at NCC Group, said:

“Our renewed appointment as a GSMA NESAS auditor reflects NCC Group’s continued commitment to advancing cyber resilience across critical industries.

As telecom networks underpin economies and societies worldwide, independent assurance is essential to building trust.

We are proud to continue supporting the telecoms sector through security assessments that help strengthen resilience, transparency and confidence across the global supply chain.”

Since its initial appointment, NCC Group has worked closely with telecom vendors to support secure-by-design principles and align with evolving international security standards.

This renewed mandate reinforces NCC Group’s position as a trusted partner to the telecom industry, helping organisations navigate increasingly complex regulatory expectations, supply chain risks and security requirements.
