NCC Group joins UK Government at 10 Downing Street for launch of Cyber Resilience Pledge

07 July 2026

NCC Group was invited to 10 Downing Street this week as government, industry and cyber security leaders gathered for the official launch of the UK Government's Cyber Resilience Pledge.

NCC Group has welcomed the launch of the UK Government's Cyber Resilience Pledge, following an invitation to attend the initiative's official launch event at 10 Downing Street.

The event brought together senior government ministers, industry leaders and cyber security experts to support a shared ambition: strengthening cyber resilience across the UK economy through improved governance, greater board-level accountability and stronger supply chain security. The Cyber Resilience Pledge, developed by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), encourages organisations to take practical steps to improve their resilience to cyber attacks.

NCC Group is proud to be among the organisations that have signed the pledge, reinforcing its commitment to strong cyber governance, greater organisational resilience and raising security standards across supply chains

Peter Vorley, Chief Commercial Officer at NCC Group, attended the launch on behalf of the company and welcomed the Government's continued focus on raising resilience across UK organisations.

"It’s a privilege to join government and industry leaders at 10 Downing Street to mark the launch of the Cyber Resilience Pledge. The initiative sends a clear signal that cyber resilience is now a strategic business priority, not just a technical concern.

"As a signatory to the pledge, NCC Group is committed to putting its principles into practice. This includes continuing to strengthen cyber governance, embedding resilience at the highest levels of decision-making, and supporting stronger security standards across supply chains.

"The actions set out in the pledge align closely with the principles NCC Group has long advocated for – stronger cyber governance, greater board engagement and a more resilient supply chain ecosystem. We welcome the Government's leadership in this area and look forward to supporting organisations as they strengthen their cyber resilience."

Cyber Security Minister Liz Lloyd said:

"As one of the first to sign the Cyber Resilience Pledge, NCC Group is sending a clear message to their customers, investors and supply chains that cyber resilience is a core part of how they do business.

"The cyber threat facing the UK is serious, growing, and evolving fast because of AI. These first signatories are showing how the whole country needs to respond, by taking practical and achievable steps to bolster their cyber defences and secure everyone's growth and prosperity."

NCC Group's invitation to attend the launch at 10 Downing Street reflects the company's ongoing engagement with UK policymakers and its role in supporting national efforts to strengthen cyber resilience across business and critical sectors. By signing the Cyber Resilience Pledge, NCC Group is reinforcing its commitment to the practical measures outlined by Government and helping drive wider adoption of cyber resilience best practice across the UK economy."
