The award from the British Embassy in Portugal aims to mark the strengthening of trade relations between both countries, recognizing British companies that are successful in Portugal and Portuguese companies that have chosen the United Kingdom as their investment destination.
NCC Group was selected for its work and success in Portugal, and received the "New to Market Award" in a ceremony presided over by Christopher Sainty, British Ambassador to Portugal.
NCC Group was chosen for the work developed in Portugal over the last 10 years, both in knowledge sharing with regards to cybersecurity as well as supporting organizations to increase protection and be more resilient in the face of the growing number of cyberattacks.
The event has been organized for 13 years with the aim of distinguishing companies that actively contribute to the strengthening of trade and investment relations between Portugal and the United Kingdom. "It has been a privilege to follow and support NCC Group's efforts in Portugal and this is the ideal time to celebrate the successes achieved," said the statement from the British embassy in Portugal.
Yasmin Tuxen, Regional Sales Manager of NCC Group, personally received the award and said “This recognition confirms NCC Group's determination to have presence in Portugal. In addition to business relationships with Portuguese customers, we are also developing important work that we have been doing for more than 20 years in other markets: collaboration with universities and research centers. The support of the British embassy has been essential since the beginning of 2022 for NCC Group to develop its client portfolio and collaborate closely with the cybersecurity community in Portugal."
Organized by the Department of Business and Commerce of the British government in Portugal, the "UK-Portugal Business Awards" are an initiative to celebrate and publicly recognize the entrepreneurial efforts of Portuguese companies that have chosen the United Kingdom as their investment destination, as well as British companies with success in Portugal, many of whom are direct investors in the Portuguese market.
