Crime Conference

About the deployment of science, technology, and public-private partnerships in the fight against crime.

Crime Conference

Crime can be fought more effective because of the development of various, for example digital, resources. But ethical and political deliberations change the limited use of these resources (kan je wissen eventueel), we need to decide whether we use a resource or not in order to maintain our own safety.

One of these resources investigations done by private parties. During the conference Erik Ploegmakers will speak about the public-private partnerships from his point of view as Managing Director at Fox-IT.

This conference is organized by Leiden University in collaboration with Fox-IT, Dutch National Police, and The Hague Security Delta.
