Fox-IT signs BOA with NC3A
At February 25th 2009, Fox-IT signed a Basic Order Agreement(BOA)with NC3A for the Fort Fox Data Diode (FFDD).
The NATO C3 Agency was established on 1 July 1996 by the amalgamation of the former SHAPE Technical Centre (STC) and the former NATO Communications and Information Systems Agency (NACISA). Both of these organizations take their roots from the origin of NATO and from the requirement to provide Consultation, Command and Control capabilities to NATO authorities. The Agency has therefore been at the centre of C3 matters in NATO for 50 years.
The NC3A is officially founded under the Charter for the NATO C3 Organization, an entity comprised of a governing body, the NATO C3 Board; a supporting substructure including the NATO C3 Representatives, and two agencies — the NATO C3 Agency and the NATO Communication and Information Systems Services Agency (NCSA).
The Basic Order Agreement ensures that all essential contract terms and prices are determined in advance. Orders can be placed with the NATO C3 Agency or directly at Fox-IT. The BOA can be used by any NATO agency, government (Civilian or Military) of NATO members or contractors who perform work on behalf of NATO agencies or NATO members. The Fox-IT BOA ensures that NATO procurement process proceeds easier and faster.
