Delft, The Netherlands—May 19, 2010—Fox-IT, a specialist in solutions for IT security, lawful interception and digital forensics, today announced that its Fox DataDiode product for secure, one-way data transmission between networks fully supports the European Telecommunications Standards Institute’s (ETSI) lawful intercept standard TS 102 232, further enhancing the security levels of classified networks that receive data from CSPs and distribute information to LEAs.
Fox DataDiode now joins FoxReplay Analyst in supporting the ETSI TS 102 232 standard. Together, these solutions enable LEAs to improve their capabilities for data interception, mediation, reconstruction, analysis and secure transport more efficiently: Fox DataDiode provides “one-way secure” data collection and transport to LI Monitoring Centers, and FoxReplay Analyst allows LEAs to rapidly reconstruct intercepted data using native ETSI-based mediation.
ETSI has been a major driver in lawful interception standards not only for Europe, but also worldwide.

Fox DataDiode provides one-way transmission for safely connecting networks with different security levels, eliminating the risk of data leak from private to public networks. Fox DataDiode’s ETSI compliance enables LEAs to accept electronically all intercepted data from CSPs, avoiding the effort and risk of manual transfers using CDs or USB sticks. Fox DataDiode is approved for networks connections up to and including NATO Secret and is Common Criteria EAL 4+ certified with EAL7+ certification expected by June.
FoxReplay Analyst reconstructs court-ordered intercepted data from CSPs. Used by LEAs to interpret the content of lawfully intercepted data in seconds, communications are played back in the original order and appearance, providing non-technical investigators with the ability to “see what your target saw.” FoxReplay Analyst supports all common protocols including VoIP, chat programs and IPv6 with capabilities to add new protocols quickly. Archiving tools manage the enormous amount of data involved with lawful interception.
