02-12-2011 Response to publication of the Spyfiles Recently, Julian Assange, on behalf of WikiLeaks, has brought out information on the production and usage of lawful interception technology by governments. We find it extremely important to look critically at the relationship between security and privacy in general and the use of lawful interception technology by governments in particular. We consider it positive that this debate has been brought to a broad public, independent from the question of how this is happening. 26-09-2011 Fox-IT divests business unit Replay to US-Based NetScout Systems Inc. Fox-IT announces that it is divesting its internet interception analysis division Replay to the American company NetScout Systems, Inc. Fox-IT expects Replay to foster within the new environment, and reach a broader and more international set of customers. With the proceeds of this transaction, Fox-IT will finance new innovations. NetScout, based in Westford MA, USA, will develop the software further to expand the possibilities of its nGenius® Service Assurance Solution product line towards the world of cybersecurity.
