Fox-IT about the danger of Internet Explorer
The security leak in Internet Explorer is dangerous. Even Germany and France advise people not to use the browser.
According to the German Federal Safety Agency of Information Technology (BSI) the security leak can infect a computer with software used to spy on a computer. The leak can be found in versions 6, 7 and 8 of Internet Explorer combined with Windows 7, XP and Vista.
German officials say they can not guarantee the safety of IE-users. Security experts agree. They have even found various written instructions on the internet explaining how you can take advantage of the leak.
Ronald Prins discusses this issue during a Dutch interview with BNR Radio.
