Fox-IT about increase of Cybercrime
Cybercrime is growing fast. Increase of new viruses and number of complaints are clear indicators.
Only recently customers of a Dutch bank fell victim to Cybercrime. Every year customers need to change their password used for internet banking. Instead of directing them to a page of their bank a link directed them to a fake website. This site was hosted by computer criminals who gained all the banking information needed to spend everyone else’s money. This is just one example of many.
