RedFox Crypto chip

The RedFox Crypto chip is the successor to the current generation of crypto chips used to protect state secrets. Its main benefits are a wider range of applications and faster processing speeds.

The Fox Crypto business unit has obtained a Dutch government contract for the development of a new generation of crypto chips. The RedFox crypto chip is the successor to the current generation of crypto chips used to protect state secrets.

The flexibility of the RedFox chip means that, in addition to improvements to existing products, it will be possible to develop entirely new products. The first products based on the RedFox chip will become available in mid-2010. Since Fox Crypto is dependent on government assessments with regards to applications involving information classified as state secret, this may be subject to change.
