Ministry of Justice

Fox-IT has been supplying customized software solutions to the Ministry of Justice for many years. To obtain an impression of this collaborative venture, we spoke with the security officer (BVA), Ton Fintelman.

"We always opt for Fox-IT, rather than for the multinationals which provide similar services." Ton Fintelman, BVA at the Ministry of Justice, is highly complementary. "You outperform others in terms of the sheer depth of your technical knowledge, you are familiar with every little detail". Fintelman has known about Fox-IT since it was first founded. A former colleague brought the company to his attention. The company’s founders enjoyed his full confidence from the very beginning, as they had previously worked at the NFI. However, he waited for positive references from the NFI before doing business with Fox-IT.

Mr Fintelman admires Fox-IT’s independence. "In situations where other companies would have to call in outside expertise, Fox-IT’s wide range of in-house specialists have all the bases covered. The Ministry even contracts investigative work to Fox-IT, because it does not have to relinquish control and because there are risks involved in using its own people. Mr Fintelman was pleased when Fox-IT adopted Philips’ unique cryptographic technology in 2003. Fox-IT is seen as a reliable and knowledgeable partner.
